China's Yarn Production in November Registers Slight Month-on-Month Increase

According to NBS, China turned out 1,571,800 tons of yarns in November 2006, a 15.14% year-on-year increase and 2.9% month-on-month increase.
Provincewise, Shandong, Jiangsu and Henan occupy the top three positions in terms of production and the three’s production reaches 928900 tons, accounting for 59.1% of this country’s total production, down a bit compared with the previous month. Shandong’s production is 447,200 tons, a 16.19% yearn-on-year increase; Jiangsu’s production is 302,200 tons, a 9.37% year-on-year increase; Henan’s production is 179,500 tons, a 25.17% year-on-year increase.
In January to November 2006, China produced 15,531,600 tons of yarns, up 20.15% compared with the same period of the previous year.
